Featured Exhibitions at the Summit Art Plein Air Festival 2023

Fine Art Photography

A very special fine art exhibition by local photographers will be featured at the festival on Friday and Saturday, June 16-17, 2023, at The Shack at Crestview Dairy. Photographers will exhibit fine art captures from both Crestview Dairy and the downtown Lee’s Summit areas. Patrons will be happy to see some of their favorite local downtown spots showcased in this fine art photography exhibit!

Participating photographers will compete for these cash awards:

• FIRST PLACE – $100
• SECOND PLACE – $75
• THIRD PLACE – $50
• HONORABLE MENTION – $25 EACH

Doug Bennett

Kansas City sports fans will enjoy local artist, Doug Bennett’s, high contrast, one-of-a-kind paintings! Doug’s paintings give the illusion of a lot of detail within the painting without a lot of actual detail, truly unique. Doug loves the Chiefs and the Royals and creating paintings that celebrate the teams, players and venues. He keeps the price point low so the average fan can afford them. Look for Doug’s booth near the Dairy Barn during the festival.
