The Summit Art Fine Art Forum meets every month and is a wonderful opportunity for artists in all mediums to network, share their recent works, learn new techniques and receive constructive critique. All artists and art lovers are welcome! Usually meets on the second Saturday of every month at Saint Luke’s East Hospital, 3rd floor Legacy Room, 9:00am to noon. Join us for a very enjoyable conversation about all things ART! *NOTE: Due to the current pandemic situation, the hospital is closed, so all meetings are being held virtually. Anyone interested in current locations and times, please contact Teddy Jackson.
All photographers are encouraged to attend the monthly Summit Art Photographers and Friends group critique sessions held on the 4th Thursday of every month at BridgeSpace (old Post Office in downtown Lee’s Summit). Our group helps you improve your image capture and post-processing through constructive critique and mentoring of both your work and that of others. Cost is $5.00 per person (new attendees = first two sessions are free!) Please bring a maximum of two matted photograph images to share. Light snacks and drinks (including wine) provided by attendees. *NOTE: Due to the current pandemic situation, meetings are not allowed to be held at BridgeSpace, so all meetings are being held virtually. Anyone interested in current locations and times, please contact Tom Mallot.
“Summit Art has been an amazing community for me to explore and grow as an artist. It is exciting to be a part of such a diverse and passionate group of artists. I only wish I had found them sooner.”
