This plein air workshop takes place during the Summit Art Plein Air Festival. It begins with a presentation that outlines the important concepts necessary for plein air painting. Then, students will choose a location to paint. Teddy will circulate and assist students as they paint “en plein air”. This plein air workshop is OPEN BY INVITATION ONLY to four art students from these five area high schools:

Lee’s Summit High School

Lee’s Summit North High School

Lee’s Summit West High School

St. Michael the Archangel Catholic High School

Summit Christian Academy

Anyone interested should contact their high school art teacher for more specific information.

COST: FREE TO STUDENT (by invitation only from art teacher)

(NOTE: Workshop Invitation does not include Main Event or Quick Paint Registration)

We are not charging students to attend this workshop, but are accepting donations to offset the cost of their admission.
