Saint Luke’s East Hospital Summit Art Gallery

Saint Luke's East has opened up more space for us to hang our art! 

If you are currently hanging art at SLEH, it stays where it is! This is a call for NEW art to fill open spaces. Any Juried Artist Member may submit NEW art for approval.

Size Limits
Artwork should be between 16"x20" and 18"x24".

Preferred Artwork Style/Subject Matter
All artworks must be approved by the SLEH leadership team. Artists will not be allowed to hang any piece that has not been approved by SLEH. The team will select artwork that aligns with their values of promoting healing and wellness, and highlighting local sites. This aligns with the other artwork currently displayed in the building and will allow for continuity in the look and feel throughout the hospital. Saint Luke’s administration will review all pieces and approve those that meet their standard. Being mindful of the environment, artworks that evoke sensations of calm, tranquility, peacefulness, etc. are more likely to be approved. Summit Art does not participate in the selection process. 

Number of Artwork Submissions
Artists may submit up to 5 works of art for consideration. Please do not submit images of artwork that has already been approved.

Medium Selection
Artists may submit in multiple mediums, however please submit one application per medium. Artists may only apply in the mediums that they have been juried into with Summit Art. 

Artwork Sales
All sales transactions will continue to be handled in the Gift Shop. When a piece sells, that piece can be immediately replaced with an approved artwork. For photographers, the replacement should be the same image.

What to Prepare
Preprare to upload a “portfolio” of five (5) digital photos showing the exact pieces you would like to hang. 

Artwork Sales
When an artist sells a piece of art, that piece can be immediately replaced, but the replacement must be one of the pieces the hospital has already approved. For photographers, the replacement should be the same image. All sales transactions will continue to be handled in the Gift Shop.
